This gives you a beautiful, reliable all-in-one remote control for your home, with all the benefits of the Apple® robust, upgradeable iTunes®-friendly iPod® and iPhone™ platform.
You can purchase the application from the iTunes® app store and customise it on your iPhone™ or iPod® so that it controls the equipment you have. You'll need a working wireless network in the rooms of your home where you intend to use airremote™ and you'll need to connect your network to the equipment concerned so that the control signals can be sent and received correctly. This is very easy to do, and you'll find you have a simple, robust set-up for far less than the cost of most other touchscreen remote controls.
airremote™ can be used directly with a simple TV and music set-up (and can, in fact, operate other controllable equipment such as lighting, blinds and various environmental systems).

We're working with manufacturers worldwide to bring you the most comprehensive selection of airremote™-friendly equipment, but we want to test everything thoroughly ourselves first. Monthly updates to our airremote™ software will allow you to add more devices if you need to.
If you use a control system from AMX® or Crestron® you can use airremote™ to give you a simple, reliable, inexpensive handheld control for those areas where you're more comfortable using a lightweight device - as a TV, music and lighting control in a secondary bedroom, for example.
airremote™ talks to your control system processor over IP, and displays feedback just like the other touchscreens you use. Your custom installer will easily programme it to work alongside your other equipment, so that you can benefit from the simple user interface design and long battery life of airremote™.
Of course, if you take it with you, you'll also be able to enjoy listening to music, or just doing the day-to-day stuff like organising your calendar on the iPod® Touch or making calls, sending texts and using the web on iPhone™. |
